Erich Pelletier

For two decades I've built communications for organizations that serve people. My work has spanned sectors: education, public media, nonprofits, the arts. For the last five years, I've been honored to lead marketing and communications for the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce.

I designed the Chamber's brand in 2021 as a freelancer, then spent five years extending it across every program as a team of one. In 2025 I was promoted to VP of Marketing & Communications. In 2026, we added our first full-time MarComm Coordinator.

Whatever the canvas, from a campaign to a website or a wall, trust the work will be intentional, well-crafted, and tight.

How I lead

A model of the servant leader, I'm never afraid to get my hands dirty in the code or in the literal sawdust and mud of an event. I've done a little bit of everything, so my confidence is earned.

I've run production teams across time zones and language barriers at Ignite! Learning and managed vendor inputs at Compass Learning, Convio and Stream57. I've also scoped, written, designed, and shipped everything myself as a team of one. Somewhere in between, it turned out I knew how to work with people to get cool stuff done.

How this site was made

I built this site (and accessasia.co) with Lovable, an AI app builder. In early 2026 I used Claude.ai to create the first online guide for the Asia x Austin Summit. The initial Lovable build was based heavily on a WordPress-based site I built around 2018 to replace an even older portfolio I'd first hand-coded around 2006.

After more than two decades of developed expertise in deploying enterprise-grade company websites in Wordpress, Drupal, Wix, homebrewed platforms, hand-coding HTML every day and being "the web guy," I'm happy to turn some of the nuts and bolts over to these very capable robot helpers.
